Traffic
The ratio of pick-up trucks to cars here is the highest I've ever seen in any part of the US.

Suppose you were driving you little foreign-made supermini around you came across a dead moose. You'd be thinking "How do I get this moose home so I can mount its head on my wall and put the rest in my enormous freezer?". The answer? Always drive around in an enormous truck.
