The beginning of the end

Well, my Oklahoman oddysey is coming to an end. I've got a new job to start in January in the UK. The house is on the market, and we're making plans to move on.

I feel somehow that the blog should end on a high note - perhaps a poem or even a musical number. But it'll probably just fizzle out in some kind of unsatisfactory way.

Aw - I will miss you Andrew. You must start a blog in the UK and tell us your adventures there! Raquel

Thank you! I have appreciated all your comments. But I wouldn't have the same sense of perplexed bewilderment in the UK...

Good luck Andrew....I've enjoyed reading of your exploits in the US. It was the title of your blog that caught my interest in the first place, so if you start a UK version, make sure it's just as eye catching so I can find it!

Maybe not the same state of perplexedness, but surely you can find someting fun to write about? Maybe everyday things that you run into in British life? Let us know . . . Raquel

Gosh, all these entreaties to continue! We will have to see if I feel inspired...
